Who is this guy?

I was born (1967, March) and raised in Corydallos, a suburb of Piraeus.  Piraeus is
the biggest port in Greece and one of the biggest in Europe.  Along with Athens, the capital
of Greece, they constitute the same "built area".
From my 12 yo (1979) through my 18 yo (1985) I spent my life around Piraeus, where most of my friends, still, live.  There, I got involved with sailing and I made a fine relationship with music.
I became a good piano player (don't shoot the pianist), learned to play guitar, bass as well as bouzouki and baglama, two  old-style guitar-like instruments.
I have never since left music alone and it has never let me down.
Then, I began Biology studies at the University of Thessaloniki, Biol. dept. until a really bad accident stopped it, sending me for a year (1988) into the hospital in Athens, Munich and Hamburg.  This left me on a wheelchair suffering from C5 quadriplegia, but... alive. Not a complete therapy is yet provided for quadriplegia.

You may ask: Are friends important?

Oh, yes, they are!

Well, after 9 years of hard work (physical therapy) I managed to get back on my studies in 1996, in the
University of Athens, Biol. dept. starting all over again because so much time,
full of events, had elapsed.  I graduated in 2000.
I began to deal with computers in 1992, being trained in programming using the languages Dbase, Cobol, Pascal and -mainly- Clipper in the Ms-dos OS.  During my graduation
study (Diploma Thesis) I worked on Computer Based Measurement & Automation using  N.I.'s programming environments.
In 2001, October, I was accepted as a postgraduate student at the Joint Postgraduate Program (Master's) on Electronic Automation
I have an older brother (1963, Nov., photographer) and a younger sister (1972, May, M.D.)
and two parents (both el. school teachers, now retired).  I 'm grateful to all of them.
